Funeral Ceremonies

I know this is a difficult time for you and your family, so I am here to support you every step of the way. From our initial meeting through to the ceremony itself, I will give you a professional, yet personal service. A service that truly honours and respects the life of your loved one.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE BOOK BLOSSOM CEREMONIES?

It all begins with you telling me their story..

Let’s capture all the beauty in their life and recall all the stories that made them who they were; the good, the bad and the memorable.

In order for me to create a ceremony that truly reflects your loved one, I gather as much information as I can through a home visit. This helps make the occasion personal and special.

I’ll then put their life into a ceremony…

Because when a loved one passes away, the memories that they leave behind are like parting gifts that they have given to each of us to treasure.

Each ceremony I write is individual and created to honour the person who has died, in a dignified and fitting tribute, focusing on the things that made them special and unique.

We will discuss your options for the funeral..

The ceremonies I create with you will take into account all of yours and the deceased personal beliefs, creating either a completely secular service or one that contains elements of religion.

Funeral ceremonies can be held anywhere: a favourite place, a garden, a hotel, a beach, the choice is yours. After the ceremony, we will simply go on to the Crematorium or the place of burial to complete the service.

I will be your support, your confidant and your officiant

Far from sombre affairs, the ceremonies I like to create, along with you, are more of a ‘celebration of life’ rather than a ‘mourning of the death’.

You will find great comfort in helping to create the type of ceremony your loved one would have wanted.

DIRECT CREMATION

It is becoming increasingly more popular for people to opt for Direct Cremation; this is where the deceased is taken directly to a Crematorium for Cremation.  There is no funeral service at the time and no congregation present.  This option is available for many reasons; it is a more affordable option, it is also an alternative option for those who particularly requested no funeral service, it is fuss-free and simple.

Should you opt for a Direct Cremation, you may wish to consider a Memorial Service instead of Funeral Service.  This can take place either on the same day as the Direct Cremation or on another day to suit.  A Memorial Service can be a real celebration of the life of the deceased in a place that means something; a beach or hillside, a local pub, a hotel, even a back garden or woodland area, the choice is yours and limited only by your own imagination.
